Two Of The best Cover Bands Ever

Finally, after , er, so many weeks, I'm able to do the review I was supposed to do in October. And why did it take so long, you need to ask a certain someone who took his time sending me the videos from his phone, then i had to mess about with them the best i could, anyway lets get going.

So It's a Friday night and the venue is Bolton's Albert Halls, a great building with extravagant hallways and grand stairways and a great concert hall with lower circle and upper seating and a nice bar to boot, which we frequented.
First on were THE ZZTOPS, That little ole band from Devon, but hell were they good, you had Franks Weird , Dusty Thrills and Billy F.Bigguns and with REAL beards, and trust me they are real, i had to check.
If you know the real ZZ then you'll know just how deep down and low they get with their bluesy rock riffs, well this band have all that and more, Billy even has that low rough tone voice that if you were to close your eyes, you would think it was the real Billy Gibbons. They are as tight as cramp and rock just like the real thing, they have their own personal persona's and can entertain the crowd just like the real lot.I dare say from up on stage, with all that boogie rock music all night, the crowd to them , must of looked like a load of nodding dogs.
It was a pleasure meeting them afterwards and chatting with them, so next time their round your way , check them out and why not check out their website also , http://www.thezztops.com/ , you might see some amazing pictures there.

So now it's beer time, ok cider , then we make our way back to get a better viewing point, which this hall has, then it starts, lights go down, big cheers and on to this stage are LIVEWIRE, probably the best cover band for AC/DC ever, seriously, this band have everything, the looks, the cannons, the clobber and each band member takes that persona of the real individual, with everything, long hair , routines, etc etc.
Then it starts with this..

Well you know what your in for after seeing this, and boy they didn't disappoint, Ashgus rocked just like the real one, everything perfect, no pedals, everything done on his Gibson and he made it stand out.I never got to see the real Bon Scott but this lad knew how to portray him down to his stance and dancing with the wire, even his voice was perfect.
The first part, yes there is two parts, were the Bon Scott era songs, all the old ones like livewire, TNT , Dirty Deeds, The Jack and Rosie, which i have to upload yet, but once done i'll post the link here, and these two ,to name but a few,

OK so were not all professional video dudes like, but its the best we could do with just one phone, anyway your now wanting more, so into part two we go and step up Brian Johnson, and just like Bon, he was the the spitting image of the real man, down to his cut off sleeve shirt and flat cap and like Bon, his voice was just like the real thing , he also had the same mannerisms of the real man.The band were as tight as a jew paying for a taxi, and were unbelievable, they made the place rock , even more when this started..

This era was everything up from Back in Black, the above, Shoot To Thrill ,Guns For Hire , even the latest one, Rock N Roll Train, all done perfect, but the pizza la resistance was the AC/DC Theme, For those about to Rock, this brought out the cannons, what could you say, this band had been and done everything the real AC/DC could do, every band member played their part perfect, outstanding and if their ever near you, seriously go and see them, you won't be disappointed, check out their website, http://www.livewiredc.co.uk/
