Badfinger's Joey Molland New Film and Headline Act at The International Beatle Week In Liverpool In August!
Like his fellow Liverpool natives The Beatles, Joey Molland grew up on American Rhythm and Blues. In 1969, at the age of 22, he co-founded Badfinger, whose first four singles became International Top Ten Hits. Joey would go on to perform and record with George Harrison, John Lennon and many others.
As he prepares for the release of his new CD, recorded in Memphis, Badfinger's only surviving member looks back on his remarkable life and career in the forthcoming film "From Liverpool To Memphis".
The film is a companion piece to Joey's soon to be released album "Return To Memphis"
The film is produced, edited and directed by Emmy Winning/Grammy Nominated John Anderson and will be premiered at the CIMMFest(Chicago International Movie & Music Festival) on the 21st April.
Joey has also just been announced as one of the headline acts for International Beatle Week 2013 in his hometown of Liverpool, England! Aug 21 – 27. Other headliners include Neil Innes and Joe Brown.
