BILLY GREER, MIKE SLAMER'S

SEVENTH KEY "LIVE" DVD/CD RELEASE

SEVENTH KEY ~ LIVE IN ATLANTA
DVD/CD RELEASE IN NOVEMBER 2013

Seventh Key goes back to 1980 when they were known as Streets formed by Billy Greer of Kansas and Mike Slamer of City Boy.  The line-up was completed by Steve Walsh of Kansas on vocals and keyboards and Tim Gehrt on drums.  They recorded two classic albums "Streets 1st" and "Crimes In Mind".  The band went on their separate ways, Billy and Steve to reformed Kansas and Mike retired to write and produce.

In 2000 Billy Greer signed a solo deal with Frontier Records and looked up his buddy Mike Slamer to join him, in what is now known as Seventh Key. They have two albums "Seventh Key" and "The Raging Fire".  The current line-up is:

Billy Greer ~ bass and lead vocals
Mike Slamer ~ guitar, bass, and keyboard
Pat McDonald ~ drums
David Manion ~ keyboards
Terry Brock ~ guitar and backing vocals
Guest appearances:
Robby Steinhardt ~ violin
Johnny Greer ~ mandolin

Very exciting news, on May 23rd 2013 filming was completed for a live DVD/CD to be released on Frontier Records in November 2013.  This is the first live performance for the band as Mike Slamer has retired from playing live.  The audience consisted of the band's friends and family. Mike Slamer's daughter Nicole Slamer directed the shoot and brought her talented Los Angeles crew with her to capture this incredible performance.
