Exclusive UK “Rise” album shows
The Answer announce UK intimate fan shows to celebrate the
10th Anniversary re-issue
of their acclaimed RISE album.
The Answer are
delighted to announce a trio of intimate exclusive UK headline RISE album live shows, an appearance
at the Ramblin’ Man Fair and a
summer run of European festivals as well as special guest appearances with Whitesnake! Tickets for the UK headline
shows are on sale from 10am on Friday 4 March 2016.
At these very
special shows, the band will not only perform the full RISE album but will also air some brand new songs in an extended
encore from their next new album of original material, due at the end of 2016.
Lead singer and
front man Cormac Neeson said, “We’re very
excited to be able to put on these up close and personal RISE album
performances for our fans. We’re not doing many shows but I can guarantee that
they will be very special and we have a few surprises planned! The Rise album
and that period will forever hold a special place in our hearts and we’re
looking forward to dusting down the cob webs and delivering a huge RISE rock
assault at these UK shows and the Ramblin’ Man festival!”

The RISE
- 10thAnniversary Edition
release is available on 2CD hardback digipak, 12” hardback book, 180g vinyl and
digital formats marking this milestone in The Answer’s career. Fully re
mastered, this celebratory issue of the band’s successful debut which broke the
100,000 sales barrier, comes bundled with all sorts of extras including the
never before heard 2004 demos, rare acoustic versions and exclusive mixes of

The release also
includes an exclusive RISE poster, T-shirt and personally
signed band autographed copies of all formats. The artwork has been revised by
original designer Paul Chessell and developed to include lots of old photos,
liner notes and period memories penned by each member of the band. The track
listing includes the original album re-mastered, 10 demos from 2004, 3 exclusive
mixes of tracks from 200, five rare acoustic versions plus a brand new mix of Under The Sky.
RISE gave
the band, who hail from Northern Ireland, a hit not only in the UK but in other
key international territories, notably Japan. The 2006 album set them on their
way to not only performing shows with the likes of AC/DC, Deep Purple,
Whitesnake, Rolling Stones and Paul Rodgers but also headlining shows across
the world. Classic Rock magazine named The Answer ‘Best New Band’ in 2005 and
in the same year Jimmy Page, who has attended several concerts, also gave them
his seal of approval.
These
forthcoming live dates and indeed the RISE - 10thAnniversary Edition release certainly sees the band
marking and celebrating what has gone before, whilst very much having one eye
on what is yet to come…
