Epiphone Announces Bloodstock Live Music Journalist and Photo Competitions
Grand Prize Winners to Cover Bloodstock Open Air Festival for Epiphone.com
Nashville, TN, July 1, 2013 – Epiphone instruments present the Epiphone Rocks Bloodstock/Live Music Journalist and Photo Competitions, offering aspiring writers and photographers a chance to cover the Bloodstock Open Air Festival exclusively for Epiphone.com. The Bloodstock Open Air music festival is the UK's premier heavy-metal event and will be held at Catton Hall in Walton-on-Trent, England, August 8-11, 2013.
"The Epiphone Bloodstock Journalist and Photo Competitions are a great way for writers and photographers to not only see their work in print but to learn what it takes to cover a huge music festival," said Epiphone President Jim Rosenberg. “There's nothing quite like the Bloodstock Open Air festival and it's a highlight on our calendar every year."
Each competition offers a chance to win a Grand Prize package which includes media passes to cover all of Bloodstock's music stages, tickets for camping, and catering passes, as well as Epiphone t-shirts, access to the Gibson Tour Bus, and more. Winners will see their photo and journalism coverage of the Bloodstock Open Air event published on Epiphone.com.
Contestants can enter the Epiphone Rocks Bloodstock Live Photo Competition by submitting a photo they've taken from a recently attended music performance from any genre. Epiphone.com will choose a Grand Prize Winner. The Grand Prize package will include two Bloodstock Festival photo passes to cover Bloodstock for Epiphone.com.
