New Rolling Stones Commemorative Boxed Set

I

1976 NEW ROLLING STONES COMMEMORATIVE SET
After very quickly completely selling out of the initial Rolling Stones commemorative set we have produced a further set limited to 250

As a tribute to the late Storm Thorgeson, of Hipgnosis, the unique circular festival poster, signed and numbered by the promoter, Freddy Bannister, is included with the set. The design for the poster was actually suggested by Mick Jagger to avoid billing problems with the other bands and was probably the first time this type of design was used to publicise a rock festival.

The 1976 Knebworth Fair featured the Rolling Stones (playing their longest set ever), 10cc, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Todd Rundgren,Hot Tuna and the Don Harrison Band.

The Commemorative set devoted to this unique event and produced in a limited edition of 250 contains:

The unique circular poster designed by the late Storm Thorgeson and signed and numbered by the promoter.

The programme, flyer and ticket also designed by the late Storm Thorgerson.
20 8”x 6” photos of Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones, including many newly discovered ones in colour.
A 330 page book on the behind the scenes hassles of promoting the Knebworth festivals from 1974-79. The title of the book was taken from graffiti written on the steps leading up to the stage by Peter Rudge, the Rolling Stones manager at that time.
A copy of the Licensing Officers report on the event, which is both very amusing and highly informative.
Plus as a gift 6 CDs and 3 DVDs. Please Note. The CDs and DVDs  are not sold separately.
All contained in a handmade deluxe presentation box
Produced in a limited edition of 250
