Bath Festivals 1969-1970. Commemorative Boxed Sets

The Bath Festivals promoted by Freddy Bannister in 1969 and 1970 were two of the most important musical festivals of the late sixties and early seventies
The first Bath Blues Festival in 1969 featured amongst many others Fleetwood Mac, The Nice, Blodwyn Pig, Colosseum, John Mayall, Ten Years After and the mighty Led Zeppelin. The festival took place on the reasonably sized Bath Recreation Ground in the centre of Bath. Needless to say it was a huge success.
The Bath Blues and Progressive Festival of 1970 however was to be a whole different affair and much larger so the festival was moved to the Show Grounds  and attracted 150,000 people over two days rather than just one. Featuring the likes of Led Zeppelin (Altogether a bigger act some twelve months on) Jefferson Airplane, The Byrds, Fairport Convention, Frank Zappa, Pink Floyd(Performing Atom Heart Mother), Canned Heat,, John Mayall and the Moody Blues to name just a few this was one of the biggest UK festivals ever held.
The reason we are telling you all this is because you can now buy a limited edition commemorative set featuring material from both festivals. What you get in the Boxed set is:
The 1969 and 1970 programmes, tickets and flyers, the 330 book dealing with all the backstage hassles, 15 photographs, the two 20ins x 30ins posters, a T-shirt from the 1970 Bath festival, plus 4 CDs.
All contained in a deluxe presentation box

The Boxed Sets can also be purchased in Monthly instalments to make the purchase a little easier. Check the website for details
