GREAT WHITE is pleased to announce its involvement in this year’s VEGAS ROCKS! Magazine awards.
Las Vegas resident and veteran guitarist and keyboardist, Michael Lardie, joins founding guitarist Mark Kendall, at the Fourth Annual VEGAS ROCKS! Magazine awards Sunday, August 25, at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s The Joint.
This year’s theme is ‘A Celebration of Classic Rock.’ Magazine publisher, Sally Steele, spearheads the awards event that honors Jon Anderson (YES), Carl Palmer (EMERSON LAKE & PALMER) and Zakk Wylde (OZZY).
The All-Star Celebrity Jam promises to shred last year’s line-up. Expected rockers include Vince Neil (MOTLEY CRUE), Simon Wright (AC/DC), James Kottak (The Scorpions) and many more.
Kendall presented last year and will join other classic rock icons for the famed jam session concluding the ceremony.
“I just love to be involved in celebrating a musical era I was a part of, “ Kendall said. “Sally (Steele) is doing a great thing giving these great musicians their due. She has a wonderful magazine that gives up-and-coming musicians in Las Vegas attention and is a big part of keeping rock and roll alive. I just love her and these events she puts on!”
